Gallery Section
WE WELCOME ALL INTO OUR GALLERY SECTION WITH NO EXCEPTIONS.
THE SECTION WHICH IS VERY SAFE AND CAN BE EXTREMELY GOOD FUN.
Description of Gallery
Gallery is the more versatile section of the club.
We shoot a 25m indoor range on a supported or unsupported basis.
This includes hand guns as follows: muzzle loading revolvers, long barrelled revolvers and pistols.
Bolt action rifles, Semi-Automatic rifles, under-lever rifles, target rifles.
All the above can be shot supported or unsupported, from a bench or standing.
We run enjoyable internal competitions which have a healthy amount of camaraderie. You may also enter other competitions as you wish.
This section can be very challenging if shot unsupported.
TARGETS
We shoot at static targets i.e. paper targets; we also have turning targets which can be set to intervals to suit your preference, this is interesting and testing.
SIGHTS
All types of sights are permitted we have no restrictions there.
50M: OUTDOOR RANGE
We also shoot a 50m: outdoor range, this is only allowed on a supported basis and limited to .22 rim fire, air, and archery.
We have a good selection of firearms and protective equipment for use by all members probationary or full.
INDUCTION
All new members will carry out an induction course with our training officer. On completion of this you will be on a probationary membership for six months, on completion of this you will be put forward to the committee for full membership.
